Single transit visa  

  The visa is valid 36 hours. The bearer has to enter and leave Bulgaria by different border checkpoints.

  Application papers:

·     Passport, valid at least 3 months after the expiration of the visa

·     Copy of the passport – page with photo, page with expiration date, pages with valid visas

·     Copy of the visa for the next country

·     Recent color photo, passport size (3.5 x 4,5 cm)

·     Proof of guaranteed means of transport for the transit passage and a copy of it

·     Proof of possession of sufficient funds to cover the subsistence costs for each transit passage, to the minimum amount of EUR 50

·     Insurance policy and a copy thereof, with a minimum cover of EUR 30 000, covering the costs of repatriation and of emergency medical care and treatment

·     Copy of the Romanian residence card, if any

       Application form  

The visa application shall be submitted not earlier than 3 MONTHS and not later than 3 DAYS prior to the date of the planned trip, either personally or through an authorized representative

·       The visas are received personally.

 

Taxes and periods of issue

·       Ordinary visa – issued in a week - 60 еuros, paid on application

·       Urgent visa – issued in 3 working days - 120 euros, paid on application

The taxes are NOT refundable in case the visa is not approved.

 

The visa section is open from 10 to 12 a.m. on working days

Double transit visa

·     Copy of the visa for the next country

·     Recent color photo, passport size (3.5 x 4,5 cm)

     Evidence, that the applicant can go back to the country form which he is coming (i.e. multiple entry visa, long stay visa, residence card. The validity of this document should be greater than the validity of the visa wanted).

·       Evidence for the reasons for multiple transit and the reasons for the stay of the applicant in Romania (Evidences of the position of the applicant in the company - i.e. work permit, status certificate). OTHER DOCUMENTS MAY BE REQUESTED IN EACH SPECIFIC CASE.

Airport transfer visa

  Issued only to citizens of the following countries: Afghanistan, Angola, Bangladesh, Democratic republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Ghana, Iran, Iraq, Liberia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan.

 

The visa is valid 3 months and does NOT allow the bearer to enter the territory of Republic of Bulgaria.

 

Application papers:

 

·       Valid passport

·       Copy of the passport – page with photo, page with expiration date, pages with valid visas

·       Two color photos, passport size

·       Air ticket or valid booking for ticket

·       Application form

·       The papers are submitted personally. The visas are received personally.
